Jennifer Schultz

I am originally from Oklahoma and graduated with an accounting degree
from Oklahoma State University.  After working almost 20 years for various
oil companies, I decided there was more to life than climbing the corporate
ladder!  I had become involved as a volunteer with an animal shelter in west
Houston and worked on every kind of project from black tie galas to cleaning
cages.  I later joined the staff as Director of Administrative Services and
Volunteer Coordinator.  Unfortunately, my husband was transferred out of
Houston so I had to give up my position a couple of years later.  I can
honestly say this was one of the most rewarding times of my life as I loved
being with the animals everyday and helping them find loving homes.

Last year we jumped at the chance to move back with our dogs to Houston
and have felt so blessed as to have been led to a home in Gleannloch.  We
have found our neighbors very welcoming and have enjoyed making many
new friends.  In the past year, I have also embarked on a new business
venture…pet sitting for the residents of Gleannloch. I’m also very
excited about joining the GLF Pet Committee and hope to be able to assist
Gleannloch residents and their pets in whatever way I can.   I once again am
able to live my passion….working with and helping animals.  Thank you for
the opportunity to serve!
