Spay/Houston are holding a week-long offer to spay and neuter your pests at their facility in Greenspoint
The It’s Hip to Snip! Campaign will be available on the Houston, Texas Groupon Grassroots page beginning on Monday, July 23 and running through Sunday, July 29, 2012. Utilizing Groupon Grassroots’ collective action model, Groupon subscribers can pledge support for the It’s Hip to Snip! initiative in increments of $10.00, with each $10.00 providing funding for pet owners who cannot afford spay/neuter services. An anonymous donor is matching donations up to $5,000, so a $10.00 donation will benefit the clinic $20.00!
Houston’s animal shelters are overrun with unwanted puppies and kittens. Spay/Houston’s goal is to provide means for the average person to afford spay/neuter and basic vaccination services for pets. Though services are low cost, some simply cannot afford basic pet care.
